Hear Ye! Hear Ye! The community is invited to enjoy a day of Cuban Culture in Los Angeles when La Plaza de Cultura y Artes teams up once again with YAMBU Productions, to present the 2nd Annual Cuban American Music Festival on Sunday, May 20th.
This destination-worthy event will feature four awesome musical acts, more dancing than you can shake a leg at, local Cuban artists showcasing their endeavors, and Cuban food and drinks. This fantastic event takes place at La Plaza de Cultura y Artes in Downtown Los Angeles with its beautiful skyline framing the festival venue. La Plaza de Cultura y Artes is located adjacent to historic Olvera Street and the iconic Union Station.
The Cuban American Music Festival will focus on traditional Cuban culture with music, art, dance, and culinary delicacies, in keeping with La Plaza’s tradition of promoting Latin culture.
This year’s stellar line-up will include a tribute to legendary Cuban singer Bene More from Pedro “Pedrito” Calva, former singer of Los Van Van performing with The ARP Big Band, Charanga Cubana, Calixto & Timba L.A. and Las Chikas.
Doors open at 11:00am. The festival will go on from 12 noon until 8:00PM. Tickets are currently $25 for General Admission and $50 for VIP. PLEASE NOTE! Tickets will be $35 for General Admission and $60 for VIP at the door, if available.
