The Office of Councilman Curren Price, in collaboration with immigrant rights groups CHIRLA (Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights) and CARECEN (Central American Resource Center), will host two emergency DACA renewal workshops to assist DREAMers before a crucial Oct. 5 deadline.
Applicants who live in the Ninth District may receive full assistance to pay the $495 DACA renewal fee, subsidized by the Office of Councilman Price. DACA recipients with an expiration date on or before March 5, 2018 are urged to renew their permits before the looming Oct. 5, 2017 deadline.
The FREE workshops will be held Saturday, Sept. 30 at Green Meadows Recreation Center from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Monday, Oct. 2 at Councilman Curren Price’s District Office from 3-8 p.m.
Please help spread the word to family, friends and neighbors who may need legal assistance. If you have any questions, contact the District Office at (323) 846-2651.
