The Garifuna International Indigenous Film Festival (GIIFF) will celebrate its 8th anniversary with a four-day festival, kicking off from May 23-26, 2019 in Los Angeles. GIIFF was founded in 2012 with the mission of providing a platform to preserve the culture of Garifuna as well as Caribbean and other indigenous cultures, by showcasing the cuisine, music and art of indigenous people and their communities from around the world.

Last Sunday April 14th, saw the culmination of the Indian Film Festival Los Angeles. Now in its 17th edition this year’s festival saw a slew of great films, filmmakers and Indian film enthusiasts all converged into the capital of cinema and entertainment. MOON HOTEL KABUL to Open 14th SEEfest on May 1 at the Writers Guild Theater

The 14th edition of the South East European Film Festival (SEEfest) announced today that Moon Hotel Kabul was selected as the Opening Night film for the 2019 festival, running May 1-8 in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood. It is the latest film by Romania’s Anca Damian, who won Best Director Award at the Warsaw International Film Festival and the Mirada International Award at the Madrid Film Festival for the film.

ShortsTV, East Los Angeles College and Cinema and Without Borders are proud to present the Oscar® Nominated Shorts Animation Day, the fifth edition of the annual East Los Angeles College International Animation Festival featuring the 2019 Oscar® Nominated Short Films – Animation.

Event will be held at at East Los Angeles College, located at 1301 Avenida Cesar Chavez, Monterey Park, CA 91754. Screenings will be held in the Building S1 Screening Room 112. Free parking will be available in Structure 4. On corner of W Floral Drive and Collegian Avenue.
