California legislators on Tuesday presented 10 immigration-related bills that would extend the rights of undocumented immigrant in the state. The proposals include Senator Lara’s Health for All Act (SB 4), which would allow all Californians to access health insurance regardless of their immigration status, and AB 622 (Hernández), which would restrain the federal government’s flawed “E-Verify” program.
