The Vietnamese American Arts and Letters Association (VAALA) celebrated a star-studded party officially launching Viet Film Fest 2016 at its new home AMC Orange 30 (in The Outlets of Orange, formerly, The Block). Pumped by a bluster of guests, filmmakers and directors, the evening included a press conference with festival executive director Ysa Le announcing the official selection, debut of the 2016 official festival trailer, and live entertainment featuring singer, Bich Van; guitarist, Nguyen Thai Minh, pop group, Kitty Antix, and dance crew, The Movement.
