Los Angeles-It didn’t take long for The Taste of Mexico, presented by The Taste of Mexico Association and The State of Baja California to become a must attend culinary event of the year.
The 6th Annual Taste of Mexico returns to the beautiful, charming, intimate courtyard of LA Plaza de Cultural Y Artes, 501 Main Street, Los Angeles CA. LA Plaza de Cultural Y Artes is LA’s dedicated museum of Mexican American History and culture situated in the heart of the vibrant and thriving culture scene of Downtown Los Angeles. This venue, as well as the pleasant Southern California weather, is the idea setting for 5,000 foodies, and lovers of ethnic cuisine to enjoy unlimited tastings from the top 35 plus Mexican restaurants in Southern California. The culinary event is scheduled for Saturday, October 15th.
The 6th Annual Taste of Mexico Culinary Festival presented by Sysco and Northgate will showcase Southern California’s and Baja California’s most highly regarded Mexican Restaurants & Chefs all in one place. Attendees will enjoy wonderful signature dishes and other mouthwatering delights al fresco.
The 6th Annual Taste of Mexico Culinary Festival will be bigger and tastier. Guests will be entertained by El Conjunto Nueva Ola, Metralleta de Oro and Son Jarocho by Conjunto Tenocelomeh while enjoying the many flavors of Mexico all in one spot. Don’t forget to sample the many different varieties of beer, wine and cocktails.
The Baja Pavilion, partnering booths, will feature the Best of Baja, Baja Wineries, Estrella Beer, the popular Micheladas straight from Michelada Mobil, Craft cocktails from Mezcalaria and Tequila Bar.
VIP HOUR $85-Beat the lines by reserving your VIP ticket for the popular VIP Hour. The VIP HOUR includes early admission with doors opening an hour early prior to the event start time. Attendees can enjoy an hour of exclusive VIP tastings without the crowds.
GENERAL ADMISSION $65-Doors open at 7:00PM. The event goes until 11:00PM. General Admission includes unlimited tastings of food, beverages from over 50 plus vendors, plus beer, wine, cocktails sampling and live entertainment.
