A celebration of the rich history of the Congolese Cultures through prayer, music, dance, and food!
Los Angeles –The Non-profit Organization United for the Future (www.u4f.com) in association with Karibu to Congo (www.Karibu2ck.com) Kinshasa will present an exciting cultural event to raise awareness in regards to the philanthropic work that is being done both in the United States and in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The yearly event will be held at “THE BOX” located at 1110 Bates Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90029, on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.

Karibu To Congo Kinshasa will showcase the rich history of the Congolese Cultures through prayer, music, dance, and food as a way to raise awareness in what the Non-profit United for the Future is doing. This year we will focus on exploring the evolution of fashion and its implications in the Congolese Culture. The event will be highlighted by a red carpet opening with the Curious Show by Tito Mongali and a live pure Congolese traditional music prior to the start of the event.
Stan Yombo will host Karibu To Congo Kinshasa. The show will feature a stand-up comedy by a well-known Congolese Comedian “Mua Mulopo”, a musical presentation of typical Congo Seben under the direction of Christian Lacombe, a mini fashion show exhibiting the Congolese cultural outfits, a cultural presentation of the Congolese Outfits a buffet featuring Congolese food and an after party.
