Jlo and Marc AnthonyLopez is an accomplished singer, actress, songwriter, dancer, fashion designer.She owns a clothing line, JLO by Jennifer Lopez, a jewelry line, has created her special fragrance "Glow by J.Lo" , is owner of Madre's an elegant Cuban restaurant in Pasadena, California and is a spokesperson for Lux shampoo in Japan.The daughter of immigrant parents she is poised to make her mark in media as she joins the band wagon of reality television executive producers with her show on MTV, Dancelife, a reality series depicting the struggles of six aspiring dancers battling it out infront of a live audience.

JLO's Roots
Jennifer was born on July 24, 1969, in the Castle Hill section of the Bronx. Her father, David, was a computer technician. Her mother, Guadalupe, taught kindergarten. Her parents were born in Puerto Rico, and migrated to the United States where they met and married giving birth to three daughters. Jennifer the middle child always had dreams of becoming a multi-tasking superstar.

She enjoyed music and was inclined to Afro-Caribbean rhythms and other mainstream genres She started early at five years of age taking singing and dancing lessons and by the age of eighteen she moved out of her parents home to pursue her dreams.

She has acted in many movies and featured in numerous dance videos including Janet Jackson.
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month we salute Jennifer's success and the success of her parents David Lopez, and mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez who she credits with the work ethics instilled in her that has led to her success.
Jennifer Lopez has conquered the world of entertainment and influence and like all immigrants and children born to immigrant parents it all began with a dream. After two tumultuous marriages that ended in divorce Jennifer Lopez is currently married to famous singer Marc Anthony who she says makes her laugh.

In Touch Weekly recently repoted that Jennifer Lopez is pregnant with her first child. The singer/actress is due to give birth in the spring of next year, according to an insider.This will be the couple's first child together. Anthony, 39, already has three children from previous relationships.

Jennifer is set to be on a worldwide tourr with hubby Marc Anthony starting in New Jersey on September 29.
