The 1st Annual Ms. Exoti-Lady World Pageant 2011 was a huge success. Maria created it as a personal and social development opportunity for women 35 years of age and older, of diverse nationalities. This star-studded formal gala and party took place at the Universal Hilton in Universal City California and raised funds for the benefit of Exotifit for Humanity, which promotes health, fitness, wellness, beauty and the arts to underprivileged women and children as well as the disabled.

Award shows have ended and just as the seasons change, we welcome a new crop of delicacies for film lover’s consumption. Some good, some bad, some mediocre and a few films filled with the magic that keep us on the edge of our seats, with tissue in hand, and that warm feeling in our hearts. One of my favorite films is Win, Win with Paul Giamatti.
