Asians nominated for Oscars: 84th Academy Award

The awards ceremony will take place at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, Calif., and the ABC Television Network will air the ceremony live at 4 p.m. Pacific Time. Of the films and awardees, a number have ties to Asia and Asian Americans.

Award shows have ended and just as the seasons change, we welcome a new crop of delicacies for film lover’s consumption. Some good, some bad, some mediocre and a few films filled with the magic that keep us on the edge of our seats, with tissue in hand, and that warm feeling in our hearts.
