THE NORTEC COLLECTIVE PRESENTS: BOSTICH & FUSSIBLE, MR. VALLENATO AND CECI BASTIDA
Tijuana fan favorite The Nortec Collective presents: Bostich & Fussible to the Grand Performances main stage. Electronica, turntable beats, and the fusion of techno sounds with traditional norteño music remains the core of the group’s head bobbing music. Classic accordion-driven Colombian street and bar room music is Mr. Vallenato’s calling card. The music conjures vivid images of coastal fishing villages, salt-of-the-earth folk and revelry. Ceci Bastida, a Rock en Español femme progenitor showcases her music with dynamic lyrics and melodic hooks with a special guest appearance by “La Reina de la Anarcumbia”

MATTHEW STONEMAN
His sweet voice and gentle presence belies the determination that has led him to sell over 45,000 CDs. An incredible voice. A fascinating story. He was a featured guest on KPCC’s “Off Ramp” and the L.A. Times has told his story. Matthew (Mateo) Stoneman’s pure tenor voice singing classic Spanish-language boleros, will steal your heart.
